How do I place a very large order at dotphoto?

HOW LARGE IS THE LARGEST ORDER?

dotphoto can upload 1000 photos at a time to a single album, and handle 1000 photos in the cart. (There is theoretically no limit to the size of an album or a cart, but, given the way the Internet functions today, 1000 photos at a time is the practical limit.)

For Club members, 1000 photos would be $80. Since the shipping is free, it doesn't cost any more for multiple orders, so, if you're printing more than 1000 photos at a time, you can place multiple orders with no shipping penalty.

SENDING CDS, THUMB DRIVES, OR MEMORY CARDS FOR UPLOADS

dotphoto will upload large orders for you. Simply send your media to dotphoto Uploads, Box 92, Titusville, NJ 08560 with your account sign-in. If you want them back, please send a self-addressed envelope.

ADDING ALBUMS TO YOUR CART

Most large orders include adding entire albums at a time. From the album page, note that each album tells you how many photos are in the album in the upper right corner of the first photo. In the example here, one album has 135 photos and another has 15 photos.

1. Select the albums you want to add by tapping the select box under the album.

2. Tap the Shop button in the left column

3. If you are ordering prints, tap the Prints button and the size of the print you want.

WHOOPS!  CLEARING A CLOGGED CART

Sometimes people accidentally put every album in their account into the cart (many thousands of photos), which freezes up the cart. This often happens if you "Select All" albums. If your cart is overloaded, you can empty the cart from the MyAccount page.  See: How to clear your cart  

ORGANIZING YOUR PHOTOS

Printing is a high speed process that puts all photos from an order into a single shipping box. We would like to separate albums into multiple packages, but we would have to charge more for that, and most customers want the best price.  If you would like special organization for your photos, you can label them with numbers, codes or names, and then use the back-printing procedure to print those codes on the back.  We don't guarantee that they will ship in a specific order, but the codes let you sort and organize as your photos as you like.  How to use Back-Printing
