What is color correction? How should I use it?

The dotPhoto Cart includes an option for Color Correction on the final confirmation page:

If you have edited your colors and are absolutely satisfied with the color, turn OFF color correction. Your photos will print as you see them.

If you would like dotPhoto to brighten your colors so that they "pop" a bit more, turn ON color correction.

Color correction applies to the entire order. If you would like color correction to apply to different groups of photos, please split them into two orders.
