How can I share my dotphoto albums to my website?

You can link your album page, a specific album, or a specific photo to your blog or web site -- or send a link in an email. 


Simply copy the link from dotPhoto and paste it into your blog or web site.


Here is where to find the links:


Link to your Album page

  1. On your main album page, click on the Share button in the upper left.
  2. Tap the green Copy button to copy the link to Share all albums. The link is copied to an imaginary "clipboard" until you paste it somewhere else.

  3. On your web site or email, paste the album link. You can often paste with Ctrl-V or right-click and choose Paste from the menu.

Icons for your Blog or Web Site

The most successful sellers have a prominent link on their web site. Choose the album or account share link, and add it to an icon like the one below. When your visitors click on this icon, they will go directly to the images you want to sell.

Link to any album (show thumbnails)

  1. Sign into dotphoto and click on any album.
  2. Click on the Share button in the upper left corner

  3. Copy the album of slideshow link. The album link will show thumbnails; the slideshow link will start a slideshow.
  4. On your web site or email, paste the album link. You can often paste with Ctrl-V or right-click and choose Paste from the menu.


Link to a specific photo (or start sharing from that photo in the album)


  1. Go to any photo and click on the share icon in the upper left.

  2. Tap the green Copy button to copy you prefer (1) the link to the album (2) the link to a slideshow of the album or (3) the link ONLY to that photo.
  3. On your web site or email, paste the album link. You can often paste with Ctrl-V or right-click and choose Paste from the menu.
